The Power of Protest
Glenn Silber and Barry Brown made this primer on how to get into “good trouble” decades ago. And The War at Home is more persuasive than ever, reminding us of our power when we take to the streets.

This is the movie that Michael Moore called “one of the best documentaries ever made.” It’s inspiring, and if you’ve never seen it, this is your chance.

New Website & Trailer
If you were marching in the streets in the 60s, 70s, 80s or 90s, the newly designed website will take you back to that time. If you are marching in the streets today, you’ll realize you are a link in a long chain of American citizens who believe in peace, justice, freedom of the press, and racial equity. Watch the exciting new trailer here.

IndieCollect is Restoring & Reactivating
The War at Home proves our premise — that indie film classics deserve to be rescued from oblivion, restored and, above all, reactivated. That means getting them to a new generation of cinephiles and activists. Hat’s off to Glenn Silber who continues the grassroots outreach and organizing that made The War at Home such a success the first time around.

We also salute our Film@Lincoln Center comrades — Lesli Klainberg, Eugene Hernandez, Dennis Lim and their colleagues — for launching our restoration of The War at Home at the 2018 New York Film Festival.

Thank You to our Donors!
The filmmakers and IndieCollect would like the thank the 340 supporters who contributed to the 4K restoration and re-release of The War at Home, especially the Padosi Foundation, Andrew Stern and the Open Society Foundations, Marc Weiss & Nancy Meyer.

Please Register to Vote or Request Your Absentee Ballot

Street protests are important because they alert our elected officials and fellow citizens to critical issues we face as a society. But street protests are not enough. Exercising our right to vote is a privilege and an opportunity. So please make sure you are registered.

Like me, perhaps you are far from your voting district and must request an absentee ballot. The U.S. Postal Service is under siege. Let’s help our Boards of Election and postal workers by requesting absentee ballots early — as I just did.

In solidarity…
